The Cudmore Coaching Method
A structured, step-by-step approach to building a strong, lasting relationship.
Whether you’re preparing for marriage or want to strengthen your relationship, our process helps you gain clarity, build skills, and move forward with confidence.
Guided by a married mentor couple
A balance of structure and depth that adapts to the needs of the couple
Focused on practical skills and real-life application
Designed for couples building a committed future together who want to grow intentionally—not just fix current problems
A Clear, Structured Process
Every couple we work with follows the same core framework:
Assessment
You each complete the PREPARE/ENRICH® assessment privately, revealing your strengths and growth areas as a couple.
Sessions
We guide meaningful conversations, explore insights, and teach practical tools you can immediately apply.
Workbook
Between sessions, you’ll work through guided exercises in The Journey from ME to WE, then share your answers with each other.
Application
You take what you’ve learned and apply it in your day-to-day relationship, where real growth happens.
Repeated throughout your program

What We Explore Together
These are the conversations most couples never have—until they need to.
We guide you through the areas that most influence how a relationship works, both day to day and over time:
Family of Origin
How your past shapes your expectations for relationships, marriage, and family life.
Communication
How you express yourselves, how well your styles work together, and ways to improve.
Conflict Resolution
How you respond to stress and disagreement, and methods to do it productively.
Money
Your attitudes toward earning, spending, saving, and financial priorities, and strategies for the future.
Marriage Expectations
What you each expect marriage to look like—and how to align those expectations.
Relationship Roles
How you can effectively approach decision-making, responsibility, and partnership dynamics.
Sex & Intimacy
How you connect physically and emotionally—and how to continue growing in that area.
Parenting
How aligned your views are on raising children, and how to navigate parenting-style differences.
Who This Process Is For
This approach is a great fit if you:
Want to be intentional about your relationship
Value structure, clarity, and practical tools
Are in a generally healthy relationship
Want to build skills for the future, rather than work through past hurts
Not the Right Fit If:
You’re looking for therapy or crisis support
You’re dealing with serious relationship distress
This Process Works for Different Stages
Whether you are:
Pre-Engaged — gaining clarity before engagement
Preparing for Marriage — building a strong foundation before your wedding
Navigating a New Marriage — reinforcing your journey together with the tools and alignment for lifelong success
Strengthening Your Marriage or Committed Relationship — refreshing skills and deepening connection
…the same core process gives you insight, tools, and confidence you can use long after the work is done.
“They have created a strong framework to understand how to love one another in this partnership and help guide us through any problem areas that we might face in our future.”
